The Shop

Etz Hayyim Synagogue has been active in the involvement of local craftspersons and artists in creating distinctive Judaica. Thus far the participation of a silversmith, wood-carver and weaver have been harnessed to this project. The Holiday Parohet for the synagogue – in white silk covered with symbolic birds and animals around a central menorah-tree – was done by a local weaver and his wife.
